Terms & Conditions of Sale
England & Wales
Version: February 2026
⸻
1. Application of These Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to all Semi-Custom Wedding Stationery orders placed via the TIIMA website.
“Designer” refers to TIIMA, a sole trader operating in England and Wales.
“Client” refers to the individual placing the order.
By placing an order and completing payment, the Client confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.
A legally binding contract is formed when the Client receives written order confirmation following successful payment.
⸻
2. Scope of Services
Semi-Custom collections are pre-designed stationery suites which allow limited personalisation.
The service includes:
• Personalisation of wording
• Agreed colour selections within the collection
• Minor layout adjustments within the existing design
The following are not included unless expressly agreed in writing:
• Full redesign or custom layout creation
• Alternative print methods not stated in the product description
• Quantity increases after proof approval
• Third-party supplier management
• Mailing or event coordination services
⸻
3. Payment
Full payment is required at the time of purchase.
No design work, materials ordering or production will begin until payment has been received in cleared funds.
All prices are stated in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
Payments are non-transferable and may not be transferred to another order or project.
⸻
4. Consumer Cancellation Rights
Where an order is placed online, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 may apply.
Semi-Custom stationery is made to the Client’s specifications and is therefore classed as personalised goods.
Under Regulation 28(1)(b), the statutory 14-day cancellation right does not apply once work on personalised goods has begun.
By placing an order, the Client expressly requests that design work begins immediately and acknowledges that the right to cancel may be lost once work has commenced.
Cancellation After Work Has Begun
If cancellation occurs after design work has started but before production, the Designer may retain a reasonable amount to reflect work completed.
Once personalised goods have entered production, no refund will be available.
Nothing in these Terms affects the Client’s statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
⸻
5. Design Process & Revisions
Semi-Custom orders include up to two rounds of digital proof revisions following the initial proof.
Revisions are limited to:
• Wording amendments
• Minor layout adjustments
• Colour selections within the chosen collection
A revision round consists of consolidated written feedback submitted in a single response.
Additional revisions or significant layout changes may incur additional charges.
⸻
6. Proof Approval & Responsibility
Digital proofs will be provided prior to production.
The Client is responsible for checking all proofs carefully, including:
• Spelling and grammar
• Names and titles
• Dates and times
• Venue details
• Addresses
• Quantities
• Layout and overall presentation
Approval must be provided in writing (including email confirmation).
Once written approval is received, the order will proceed to production and the Designer shall not be responsible for any errors contained within the approved proof.
Reprints required due to approved errors will be charged in full.
⸻
7. Colour & Materials
Colours viewed on screen may vary from printed results due to monitor settings and print processes.
Paper stocks and materials are natural products and may vary slightly between batches in tone, texture or thickness.
Minor variations inherent in digital printing, specialty finishes or handmade processes are not considered defects and do not constitute faults.
⸻
8. Production & Timelines
Production timelines are estimates and depend upon prompt Client responses.
The Client must provide feedback within five (5) working days of receipt of proofs or information requests.
Delays in response may extend production timelines and delivery dates.
The Designer is not responsible for delays caused by late Client responses or third-party suppliers.
⸻
9. Delivery
Delivery will be arranged using an appropriate tracked courier service selected by the Designer.
Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.
Risk in the goods passes to the Client upon delivery to the address provided at checkout.
The Client must inspect the goods upon delivery and notify the Designer in writing within 48 hours of delivery of any damage, defect or production issue.
Where damage is reported, the Client must:
• Provide clear photographic evidence
• Retain all original packaging and contents
Failure to notify within 48 hours may affect the Designer’s ability to pursue a courier claim.
The Designer shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party couriers, customs processes, industrial action, adverse weather or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
The Designer shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from delivery delay, including but not limited to missed mailing dates, re-postage costs or event disruption.
Nothing in this clause affects the Client’s statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
⸻
10. Intellectual Property
All designs, artwork and creative concepts remain the intellectual property of the Designer.
The Client is granted a non-exclusive licence for personal use in connection with their event only.
The Client may not reproduce, resell, adapt or distribute the designs without prior written consent.
Editable or working files are not supplied.
The Designer reserves the right to photograph and use images of finished stationery for portfolio and marketing purposes, excluding guest addresses and sensitive personal data.
⸻
11. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:
• Death or personal injury caused by negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded
Subject to the above, the Designer’s total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the order.
The Designer shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including wedding disruption costs, third-party expenses or loss of opportunity.
⸻
12. Data Protection
Personal data will be processed in accordance with:
• UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR)
• Data Protection Act 2018
Personal data will be used solely for the purpose of fulfilling the order and associated communications.
Further details are set out in the Privacy Policy.
⸻
13. Force Majeure
The Designer shall not be liable for delay or failure in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
• Supplier failure
• Courier disruption
• Material shortages
• Equipment breakdown
• Government restrictions
• Severe weather
Production timelines may be extended accordingly.
⸻
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If the Client resides outside England and Wales, nothing in this clause affects any mandatory rights applicable in their country of residence.
